There is no university or tertiary degree that teaches us how to raise our children, much less simultaneously manage our own business.

I am an Industrial Engineer and although I acquired a lot of knowledge in relation to work processes, industrial processes, business organization and management in addition to a very good training in economics and finance, no one prepares you to undertake. Life and the education received are the capabilities that prepare us to face the challenges of being a mother and a professional and achieve “the magic” of combining and articulating both.

I think it is natural for many women to experience a feeling of guilt at a certain moment, feeling that they are neglecting some of their functions. But I learned that these two seemingly antagonistic positions are actually complementary and that neither of them would be the same without the existence of the other.

I am 37 years old, have two children, and I founded DINKA, a company that is dedicated to advising entrepreneurs and businessmen, whether in the start-up of projects, or in their growth, development and professionalization.

At first everything was going very well, but as both my children and my company grew, the needs of both roles also demanded more of me. During that time of “pulling” I learned that one function was not detrimental to the other but on the contrary, they are the perfect complement. Both roles constantly teach me a lot and that is very motivating. I observe my children a lot and I draw inspiration from them to convey to my clients, for example, guidelines on creative processes in work teams. They also taught me to be more clear and concrete in my communication. My dual role also allows me to instill in my children the values of work and effort and to be more efficient with time.

Without a doubt my children are the most important thing in my life but I feel that the combination of roles contributes to my personal growth.
