Sandra Felsenstein, engineer and consultant, assured that “the entrepreneur must be objective when evaluating prices.”
"The SME businessman must try to be objective in the valuation of prices, knowing the situation in which one finds oneself is the first step to be well aligned and not lose profitability," he expressed. Sandra Felsenstein in conversation with Nino Fernandez on SME Agenda.
The engineer continued: "It is true that it is a greater challenge when we are in an inflationary period. It is good to make periodic reviews. But not to modify prices all the time. Information management is important."
“As for the competition, you don't have to follow everything as is and work in line, but you also don't have to look to the side and be left behind,” said Felsenstein. And he added: “Everything must be balanced.”
Furthermore, the consultant stated: "When you have a company, the idea is to obtain a positive result. As costs increase, and I cannot eliminate parts of the process or raw materials, unfortunately I have to transfer it to the prices."
Finally, he concluded: "In an inflationary process, unfortunately, prices must be adjusted more frequently. There must be a forecast regarding inflation, so that increases are not periodic."
